Terms and Conditions for Transformative You 2 Matter

Vendor/Independent Contractor Responsibilities aim to encapsulate all aspects of your

service, ensuring clarity for both vendors and users while adhering to legal standards.

• Space Maintenance: Our Guests and Vendors/Independent Contractors must maintain the condition of the space provided by Transformative You 2 Matter and Marina Del Rey Hotel Waterfront Venue throughout the event.
•  Liability for Loss: Neither Transformative You 2 Matter nor Marina Del Rey. Hotel Waterfront Venue is responsible for any lost or stolen items during the event.
•  Indemnification: Our Guest and Vendors/Independent Contractors shall indemnify Transformative You 2 Matter and Marina Del Rey Hotel against claims arising from their actions.
• Refund Policy: Once the package is purchased online, there is no refund for the Event or our guest-purchased package. You’re welcome to transfer your ticket to another independent person if you cannot go. However Transformative you 2 matter and Vendors or independent contract is not reliable of your cancellation nor transfer.

Specific Responsibilities of Each Party

•  Transformative You 2 Matter: Providing space, marketing, food, and drinks. Responsible for setup, clean-up, equipment rental, and food/beverage provision.
• Vendor/Independent Contractor: Responsible for setting up and managing necessary equipment and supplies. Arrival time is 4:30 PM for a 5:00 PM start.

Communication Protocol

Our Communication will be available during the event. Our website also always emails and sends messages through Facebook and Instagram, and we will respond in 24 hours, if not sooner.

Data Protection and Privacy

• Ownership and usage of personal data collected during the event will be transferred to Vendors/Independent Contractors and Transformative You 2
• Matter. Disclosure of personal information requires individual consent.
• Marketing and Promotion
• Event marketing and promotion will be conducted through social media and online platforms. All rights to Marketing, Photographs, distribution and re provisions of photographs are Transformative you 2 matter rights.

Post-Event Evaluation

A feedback survey will be distributed after the event.

Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

• An NDA is included to protect sensitive information shared during the event planning and execution. We agree with our vendors and Independent contractors to follow our NDA before events.
• Jurisdiction-Specific Legal Requirements
• Compliance with California state laws concerning business operations, health, safety, and employment will be regulated and maintained through California State Laws.

Liability and Insurance

Vendors must have liability insurance and provide proof upon request. They are responsible for damage caused by their equipment or personnel and must comply with local laws and regulations.

Intellectual Property Rights

Intellectual property rights for materials created for the event are owned by Transformative You 2 Matter. Vendors retain rights to their brand and promotional materials.

Performance Standards

Vendors/Independent Contractors are expected to deliver 5-star customer service.

Cancellation Policy

•  Unless canceled by Vendor/ Independent contractor or Transformative, you 2 Matter through Weather, Natural Disaster, or Emergency circumstance towards Venue and our guest safety, there will not be cancellations. If you do cancel Transformative, you 2 Matter is not held reliable to refund or replace your ticket.
• However, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to another individual.

Subcontracting Policy

•  Subcontracting is not permitted.Force Majeure
•  Neither party is responsible for event cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances like natural disasters or pandemics.

Amendments and Governing Law

• Contract amendments require written consent from both parties. The contract is governed by the laws of Southern California/United States of America.

Confidentiality Agreement

• Ensures confidentiality of information shared during event planning and execution.
•  Disputes will be resolved through negotiation, followed by mediation or legal action if necessary.

Event Specifics and Responsibilities

The event provides networking opportunities and promotes the skills and services of the participants.

Emergency Contact Information 

Mandatory provision of emergency contact details for safety. If, for any reason, an emergency does apply, we will follow the venue regulations and rules to their policy and in accordance with California State Law.

Vendor/Contractor Credentials

Verification of credentials and certifications of participating professionals by

Transformative You 2 Matter with our vendors and Independent Contracting.

Accessibility and Inclusion

Commitment to ensuring accessibility for all participants, including those with

mobility impairments.

General Terms

Conditions for service withdrawal, managing customer expectations, and

setting user behavior rules.

Service Usage Policy

Respectful and lawful service use, adherence to intellectual property rights,

and privacy and confidentiality standards.

Limitation of Liability

The service is not liable for damages arising from its use.

Changes to Terms

Periodic updates to terms and conditions, with continued use signifying

acceptance of changes.

Compliance with Policies

Adherence to specific tool policies, including diversity and inclusion guidelines

in image generation.

Discretion in Use and Feedback

Users are expected to exercise discretion and judgment in using the service

and provide feedback.These terms are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and lawful environment for all users, protecting the rights and integrity of the service and its content.
